I love when I walk out,
I see the court and all the fans.
I love to hear my name,
while the fans scream and shout.
I love the sound of the shoes on the floor,
and the ball bouncing to its beat.
I love when I hear my coach yell (nicely),
and all the compliments he gives.
I love the sweat I see on my team,
and the determined look on their faces.
I love the feel of the ball,
as I shoot it going for a swoosh.
I love the high fives I get,
as a make my free throw.
I love the encouragement my team gives,
as I work to be better.
I love the feel of a victory,
the joy it brings to everyone!
...Well at least everyone on the Bluejay's side!
Dedicated to Kailey for being such a baller:)
And to everyone else on the team!! I couldn't live without you guys!!
I love you all!!<3

I Remember..
I remember all the toys sitting in the yard,
all of them just for me and my brother.
I remember sprinting so fast, the wind whipping your hair,
than jumping into the water, it splashes everywhere.
I remember the worn out blanket,
that protected you from all the monsters.
I remember all the forts made,
so weak you couldn't breathe or it fell.
I remember the innocent obliviousness,
there was nothing in the world besides fun.
I remember the nights spent outside,
the shining stars watching you sleep.
I remember all the dolls,
I was the best mother they ever had.
I remember the prayers with my mommy,
praying for my aunties, uncles, cousins, and friends.
I remember the laughter that filled every day,
bringing sunshine on a cloudy day.
all of them just for me and my brother.
I remember sprinting so fast, the wind whipping your hair,
than jumping into the water, it splashes everywhere.
I remember the worn out blanket,
that protected you from all the monsters.
I remember all the forts made,
so weak you couldn't breathe or it fell.
I remember the innocent obliviousness,
there was nothing in the world besides fun.
I remember the nights spent outside,
the shining stars watching you sleep.
I remember all the dolls,
I was the best mother they ever had.
I remember the prayers with my mommy,
praying for my aunties, uncles, cousins, and friends.
I remember the laughter that filled every day,
bringing sunshine on a cloudy day.
